1. 課程介紹：
The goal of this course is to provide students with an overview of the state-of-the-art technology for deploying services over data networks and the multimedia Internet of Things. It is intended for engineers willing to increase their knowledge in fields and applications founded on Computer Science and Technology.
The first three sessions consist of lectures addressing technical concepts in a down-to-earth language. Some discussion and practical activities are also considered. During the course, students have to work on a project or service that makes use of the technologies presented. Works will be presented and discussed in the last session. Depending on the number of students, in this very last session we will discuss some recent publications on the related fields of knowledge.

3.主講人介紹
Tarragona (1976). Engineer in Computer Science and Technology (Universitat Rovira i Virgili, 2002) and PhD in Telematics Engineering (Universitat Polit `ecnica de Catalunya, thesis Real-Time Pay-per-view of Protected Multimedia Content, 2004). Specialist in the European Higher Education Space (Universitat Rovira i Virgili, 2006). Tenured associate professor at the Department of Computer Engineering and Mathematics in Universitat Rovira i Virgili (since 2003). Head of studies at URV’s Technical School of Engineering (2005 to 2017). Consultant teacher at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (since 2003). Member of the IEEE. Member of the Smart Health research group (Universitat Rovira i Virgili, since 2014) doing research on the application of Information Technology and Communications (ICT) in health and health services (e-health, m-health, s-health). Researcher at the Crises group (Universitat Rovira i Virgili, 2001-2017), doing research on security and privacy in ICT. Visiting researcher at LAAS-CNRS (Toulouse, France, summer 2004). Also interested in teaching and quality in higher education, he has taken part in the elaboration of bachelor and master programmes.
